Director’s Statement
Scratchatopia is an upcoming animated documentary film that focuses on the world of handmade filmmaking through the work of Canadian filmmaker Steven Woloshen. Ideas of the simple animation process seen in a complex world mix with his influences, from Len Lye to punk rock, by revisiting his body of work.
